The Rowan Farintosh Quintet returns to Hermann’s Jazz club on Thursday, December 3rd!
Having lived in Toronto for the past two years to pursue Jazz studies at Humber College, Saxophonist Rowan Farintosh is back to perform another exciting night of music featuring some of Victoria’s best up and coming musicians. Expect to hear instrumental music rooted in jazz improvisation, while borrowing elements from Funk, Hiphop, and other popular genres.
“Dynamic. Visceral. Tight and free.”
Fresh off of a sold out show in October, Rowan is extremely excited to be presenting brand new original music, as well as adapted versions of Jazz standards, and more contemporary material.
Rowan Farintosh - Saxophone
Owen Chow - Trumpet
Sam Laramee - Keyboards, Synthesizers
