Another year dawns and CanUS Jazz Band is still going strong after 30 of them, continuing to delight fans with their traditional jazz and swing repertoire. Each member of this band is a star in his or her own right but it is what they do collectively that brings fans back year after year. Well-known Vancouver drummer, Lauri Lyster is now a a regular with us accompanying her husband, Simon Stribling and the rest of the band. She, of course, was the attraction that lured Simon from Australia with”love at first sight” which happened at the Chilliwack Jazz Festival. And now - they are residents of Victoria!!!! On trumpet, Alfons Fear, Simon Stribling trombone and alto, Al Pease, clarinet and tenor sax, with rhythm stars Joey Smith on bass, Avram MacCagherty banjo and leader Toni Blodgett tickling the ivories. Singing will round out the entertainment and thanks to your generous support, We are still here!!

Wind down after busy holidays and have a whole lot of fun with us from 1-3 pm!
