Where is the club located?: Hermann’s Jazz Club is located in downtown Victoria at 753 View Street (between Blanshard Ave. and Douglas Street). There is a parkade nearby for parking. See the map for more details.

How much seating do you have?: Hermann's has 33 tables with seating for 150 guests including 15 bar seats.
Does Hermann's support local musicians?: Hermann's is very supportive of local musicians. On Thursday nights Hermann's plays host to the Esquimalt High School Jazz band where Victoria's up and coming jazz stars take shape.
Can I download your schedule?: Yes, you can download a PDF version of the calendar, which includes a description of some of the events, in either calendar view or in list view.

Where can I buy CD’s by local musicians?: Musicians often have their CD's available at their show. Some musicians also sell them on their website. Local retailers include HMV, any others?
Is Hermann’s Jazz Club a venue for jazz festivals in the city?: Yes. JazzFest 2008 runs June 20–29.

Are children allowed in the club?: Yes. Children are welcome at Hermann's.
Is the club wheelchair accessible?: Yes. Hermann's is at street level with a small ramp to the door. We also have an accessible washroom.
Is smoking permitted in the club?: No. In 1996 The Capital Regional District (CRD) passed a bylaw restricting the smoking of cigarettes, pipes and cigars in public places. This bylaw applies to Hermann's as it does to other clubs. Smoking is not permitted in the club.

Is there a cover charge for live events?: Yes. Most events have a cover charge.
Do you have a dance floor?: Yes.
Where can I park my car?: There is parking available on the street and in the parkade nearby on View Street.

Can we reserve a specific table?: We will try to accommodate your request; however, seating arrangements can change depending on the number of guests we have each night.

How do I unsubscribe from your email list?: Send an email to info@hermannsjazz.com with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line. You will be removed from Hermann's mailing list.
How often do you send out email to your mailing list?: Our calendar update is sent out approximately monthly.
